The best part of the year

Posted in Uncategorized at 8:21 pm by jrhitterman

I have been a Juggalo (Insane Clown Posse fan) for many years now. I follow them and all the artists that are under their record label, Psychopathic Records. And the only thing that is better than listening to music is seeing it performed live in person and being part of a crowd that is just like you. Tomorrow I will be going to the Congress Theater to see ICP, Twiztid, and a couple other performers. I love going to the concerts because for a couple of hours I can act crazy, have fun, and forget all of my problems and worries. It is the only time that I can escape from reality and have fun with a bunch of other people that I have something in common with. I may not have a voice, have a couple of bruises, and be soaking wet from all the Faygo, but I will have one hell of a time and tons of fun.

If your going to argue, have evidence

There is an attorney out of Coral Gables, Florida that is in the news a lot when ever some huge shooting happens. This time it was the Virginia Tech Massacre. The name of this man is Jack Thompson and he uses any tragedy he can to make his points look better. He has a huge rivalry against the video game industry because he says violent video games have caused all the violence that is in the world. About an hour after Virginia Tech, Mr. Thompson was on the news saying that violent video games was the cause of this massacre. No-one knew who the shooter was or what his motives where at this point but Mr. Thompson knew that video games where to blame. But after further research that was done by the police and investigators, we learned that Cho (the shooter) did not even play video games at all. But Mr. Thompson’s biggest reason that Cho played games was because he was so “calm” and “cool” while doing these shootings and he learned that from Counter Strike (one of the most played first person shooters that is played on the PC). Now if Mr. Thompson ever seen anyone play Counter Strike then he would know that it is a fast paced game, where you have to keep moving or be killed. It is a very intense game not relaxing as Mr. Thompson would like you to believe. I think it is horrible that Mr. Thompson would use a tragedy like the Virginia Tech Massacre as fuel for his fire that he has burning against the video game industry. And if you go for an interview, make sure you have evidence to back up your claims because if you don’t people will call you out on it. Evidence of that can be seen in this clip of Mr. Thompson being interviewed on Hard Ball. Enjoy!

Need some sun

Posted in Uncategorized at 8:18 pm by jrhitterman

Last week it we had some amazing weather here in Chicago but the week that just passed was just horrible. We can below freezing weather and even a whole day of snow during the middle of the week. I want to do a lot this summer because it will be my last here in Chicago. As soon as the sun comes out I will be able to make the most out of the outdoors. This summer I want to play tons of baseball like how me and my friends used to do all the time back in the day. I want to go to a couple of Cubs games, go to the Botanical Gardens a couple of times, go to Six Flags, take my vacation to San Francisco, CA. in June, and have a huge BBQ with a bunch of friends to celebrate my last summer here. I have a lot to plan out and to get ready for. There are a bunch of other things that I want to do this summer that escape me right now. But I will guarantee you that I will be very busy this summer and I will be taking a lot of pictures and videos this summer to keep the memories. So keep coming back here to see more media that will be posted here over the next 6 months.
